New LED lighting, USB points and a Commercial Range Cooker installed at the Apple Tree Bed and Breakfast in Tavistock.

As we’ve previously mentioned we’re big fans of LED lighting so the recent job we’ve just completed at the Apple Tree Bed and Breakfast in Tavistock was the perfect job for us here at RC Electrical.

Not only are the owners a pleasure to work for we got to work with some other old friends and local tradesmen including Steve at The Plymouth Kitchen Company.

Why LED?

LED stands for “light-emitting diode”. The technology converts electrical energy into light, saving you on your electricity usage! It’s not just electricity that LEDs save on, when compared with other lighting options they also drastically reduce waste because the bulbs rarely have to be replaced. Win win!

Gone are the days of expensive and slow-to-warm-up cold white LED bulbs. The selection of LEDs available to you today opens up a lot of creative options for creating that WOW effect in your home. These highly efficient lamps now come in a wide range of shapes, colours and lumen levels. These include low-profile, flexible strips that are perfect for adding a unique ambience to any space and work particularly well in a kitchen.

Much like shelves, adding LED light strips under and in your kitchen units, can enhance the appearance of your space. As an added bonus under cabinet lighting will also act functionally and make your cabinets, drawers, and surface areas easier to work in.
